Terms of Service

Know What’s Due is a tool for keeping track of dates that matter — things that expire, renew, or need doing again. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and for what happens under your account. Use a real email address you control — it is how you would recover access.

One account is for one person. Don’t share credentials.

You keep ownership of what you enter. You grant us only what is needed to run the service: storing your records and showing them back to you and to any app you have explicitly connected.

Do not use this product to store sensitive document contents. It is designed for dates and short descriptions — not passport or licence numbers, account or card numbers, government identifiers, or medical records. Fields are sized and intended accordingly.

Don’t use the service to break the law, to store someone else’s personal information without a reason to, or to attack the service or other users.

You may connect third-party applications to your account. You decide which, and you see what each one will be able to do before approving it. What a connected app does with information it reads is governed by that app’s terms, not these.

Worth being completely unambiguous about, because the name suggests otherwise: Know What’s Due does not send notifications of any kind. No emails. No text messages. No push notifications. No calendar invitations. Nothing is sent to you, ever.

What it does is show you what is due when you open it, with anything overdue or inside your reminder window at the top. The “remind me” setting controls where something appears in that list — it does not cause a message to be sent.

So this is a place to look things up, not an alarm. Do not rely on it as the only thing standing between you and a deadline that matters.

The service is provided as is, without warranties. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that data will never be lost — keep your own record of anything critical.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, including a deadline you missed.

You can stop using the service at any time. Account deletion is not yet self-service — email hello@knowwhatsdue.com and we will delete the account and the records attached to it.

We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.

These terms may change. The date at the top will change with them, and continuing to use the service means accepting the current version.
